Weathered Ash creates a feeling of pastoral permanence, and the faceted chains and teardrop balls that anchor each light and the center-post finial, add an air of romance. Five arms swoop low and return in a dramatic s-shape, peaked by candle cups that support 5 C type bulbs. (Candle shaped bulbs will complement the Kenwood's French Country feel.) Beautifully detailed and ornamented, the Kenwood nonetheless offers an open, light profile, which contrasts nicely with the opacity of the materials. For those who wish to observe closely (and many will) there's a delightfully subtle study in contrasts here. The 5 light model is 28" in diameter.
