Shipping Policy

Lights Canada ships across Canada using trusted courier partners to deliver your order safely and efficiently. Shipping times are estimates and may vary based on location, carrier, and order details.

 

Standard Ground Shipping

  • We do not ship to PO boxes.

  • Free standard shipping is available on orders over $99.00 (before taxes) to the following provinces: British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario, Quebec, Nova Scotia, Newfoundland, New Brunswick, and Prince Edward Island.

  • Orders shipping to Nunavut, Northwest Territories, or Yukon are excluded from this offer. Please contact Customer Care for a shipping quote.

  • Orders under $99.00 (before taxes) are subject to a flat $25.00 shipping fee.

 

Where We Ship From

Lights Canada is 100% Canadian-owned and operated, with products shipping from Canada and the United States. Check the product page for the maple leaf to see which products ship from Canada. Brand-Specific Shipping Surcharges

  • Classy Caps and Umbra products are not eligible for free shipping.

  • A $25 shipping surcharge per brand, per order applies to these products.


Large & Oversized Items

Some items, including large chandeliers, floor lamps, and occasional furniture, require oversized handling and special delivery due to their size.

  • Items requiring oversized shipping are clearly identified on the product page.

  • A flat $100 oversized fee will be applied per item at checkout.


Quick Ship

To better help you shop, we highlight select products that are available to ship quickly through our Quick Ship program.

Products marked Quick Ship are eligible products from brands participating in our Quick Ship program to be dispatched within 24 to 48 hours, when in stock.

Quick Ship timelines apply to business days only and exclude weekends and national holidays. Orders placed on weekends, statutory holidays or after 12 PM EST on Friday, will begin processing on the following business day.

Please note that Quick Ship refers to the time required to dispatch your order, not the estimated delivery date. Transit times will vary depending on the shipping destination, delivery destination and carrier. Tracking information will be provided once it becomes available.  Quick Ship items are dispatched with regular service and may be subject to warehouse closures or courier delays.

 

Open Box

Open Box products are returned items in new condition that have never been installed. They may have markings on the box but come in the manufacturer's original packaging. Open Box items ship from Lights Canada's warehouse in Calgary, Alberta, and leave the warehouse within 1 - 2 days of an order being placed. All Open Box products are FINAL SALE - no refunds or store credit.

Delivery timelines vary by product. If you need an order by a specific date or would like to confirm availability, please contact us prior to placing your order.

Shipping times are estimates and are not guaranteed. Transit times may vary based on carrier, destination, and order details. We recommend scheduling installation only after your order arrives and has been inspected, as delivery dates are estimates and may be affected by courier delays outside our control.

Lights Canada is not responsible for any costs, expenses, or losses incurred as a result of shipping delays.


Installation & Order-Related Costs

Any installation, labour, or project-related costs associated with your order are the responsibility of the customer. We recommend inspecting all items upon delivery prior to installation.


International Shipping

Lights Canada does not currently ship internationally.
