At the apex of the arm’s curve, we seat a crystal bobeche, knurled to match the scalloped edge of the stepped metal backplate. A gently gathered silk shade is the perfect complement to Clyde’s textural elements. Clyde’s dollop of smooth metal atop the arms at the center of the backplate suggests the possibility of tying the piece in with other hardware in the room.
