The Expo torchiere can illuminate any room with even up lighting. A beautiful frosted glass shade diffuses bright ambient light. An Adesso patented 300 Watt Double Socket construction allows for two crisscrossed sockets, each holding on/off 150 Watt incandescent or LED bulbs which provides approximately 3 times more light than a typical torchiere. The brushed steel finish is complemented with chrome accents on a chunky pole that gives the lamp a bold presence in a room. A simple high/low rotary switch is located on the pole to adjust the brightness. This lamp has a black cord and is smart outlet compatible. Use incandescent bulbs up to 150W or dimmable led bulbs (DO NOT USE: 3-way bulbs or CFL's). We recommend using incandescent bulbs for best results achieving both settings of 50% brightness and 100% brightness with no flicker. When using LED bulbs, it is common to see some flicker on the low setting (high setting will always have no flicker). A dimmable LED will minimize the low setting flicker, but may still occur. Bulbs are not included.
