A three-way steel rotary switch located on the base controls two 60W incandescent bulbs or equivalent CFL's. The 3-way rotary socket switch will only work with a 3-way light bulb, otherwise this lamp will function with simple on/off switch at its highest setting. This lamp has a clear cord and is smart outlet compatible. Bulb is not included.
