LED Mini Pendants

LED mini pendants are a compact pendant lighting fixture that can be added to a variety of spaces. These pendants are perfect for installing in groups above linear spaces like kitchen islands, dining tables or bars.

How Many Mini Pendants Do I Need Over an Island or Bar?

To help determine how many mini pendants you’ll need, divide the length of your kitchen island or bar into 2 foot sections. It’s recommended to hang approximately one pendant light for every 2 feet of length, making sure to keep a 6-12 inch clearance from the ends of the island or bar.

How Far Apart Should Mini Pendants Hang?

When hanging mini pendants, leave 24-30 inches between the centers of each pendant. This avoids overcrowding and keeps the group of pendants looking visually balanced and part of a set. For very small pendants under 12 inches in width, you can reduce the spacing to 18-24 inches.

Can Mini Pendants Replace Bedside Lamps?

LED mini pendants are a great solution for maximizing space in compact bedrooms. Hanging mini pendants can help you free up room on your bedside tables, especially if the surfaces are already on the smaller side. Using your vertical space to hang pendant lights leaves more breathing room beneath and leaves your surfaces looking less cluttered.

Are Mini Pendants Bright Enough for Task Lighting?

Mini pendants can be used for task lighting, providing they have a bright enough output and are hung at the correct height. When choosing a fixture, make sure to select one with a lumen output over 750. Hang your mini pendant 30 to 36 inches above your work surface to make sure your lighting is concentrated enough for the task at hand.
